Welcome to Creekside Cabin: The cabin is approximately 100 years old, nestled on the “Manor of the Masque”. This land was deeded to William Penn in 1735, the cabin sits along Marsh Creek. The creek's origin is about 5 miles away and courses through Adams County and Frederick County, before eventually emptying into the Chesapeake Bay. The surrounding farmland/woodland was occupied during the Civil War and the farm at the end of the lane served as an active Civil War hospital. Soldiers are buried near the farm.
Now that we’ve presented you with a brief history, we would like to describe the benefits of staying with us. The picturesque view of Marsh Creek comes with an abundance of wildlife; turkey, deer, hawks, and owls.
We offer 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a kitchen, a large dining area attached to an open family room. You will fall in love with the old stone fireplace and the scenic view from the sunroom. Amenities included are fire pit, horseshoes and gas grill.

Summary: My friend and I were Civil War reenactors 45 years ago. We had talked about this trip for a long time. This cabin ticks all the boxes for a historical deep dive. Its almost on the battlefield and the Round Tops are easily visible from the property. At the end of a long day of following that HUGE battle, the cabin is a quiet, idyllic retreat. Everything is comfortable and well maintained. It even has an automatic backup power system! Everything in Gettysburg is 15 minutes or less away. I just can't say enough good things about the property and its owners who live but a stone's throw away. Will definitely stay again if we get to come back to Adams county.

Summary: This historic cabin is in a wooded setting with deer a creek and bird songs. The amenities all worked to make a comfortable stay. Great access to museums, antiques, hiking, and scenic drives.

Summary: The cabin was so adorable. The only thing that was a problem were the stink bugs. But other than that the place is so rustic and quaint. We enjoyed our selves.

Summary: Charming cabin for a winter stay--but I bet it would be great in warm weather too when you can play in the creek! Lots of space to spread out. Our 11 year old was charmed to stay in a "real log cabin" and it was also his first experience with old fashioned radiators! Got pizza at Clementina's just a few minutes away & enjoyed it.

Summary: This quaint cottage is just what we needed for a family early Christmas celebration in Gettysburg. The location was perfect, easy to get in and out of downtown Gettysburg. The area is quiet and serene. The house was clean and offered lots of little perks, including games! We had so much fun and will consider it for sure again when we come back.!

Summary: The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved the location and the wildlife as well! The deer were beautiful! It was a very short drive to the Battlegrounds and Gettysburg..The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We found the sunroom to be the perfect spot for our Bible reading. We definitely recommend staying here! to be back.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay. It was our second trip to the Gettysburg area, staying at Greg and Tami's location. Both Greg and Tami are very hospitable and checked with us upon check-in to make sure all was well. They made themselves assessable in case we needed anything. All amenities were provided. We look forward to returning to this location next year.
